I am excited. I sure hope plans come to pass! I'm taking a course to get my motorcycle licence this spring. If I pass (I should) My hubby and I hope to ride from Vermont to Maine. We intend to visit Bar Harbor, for our 10th anniversary. That is the same place we went on our honeymoon. We want to re-visit the Belfast Brewery & Pub, the beach front campground on Mt. Dessert Island and take a plane tour, and maybe do some whale watching. I would love to do an early morning ride through the sights at Acadia National Park as well. The maine coast is gorgeous and a lot of fun to explore. I can't wait, and hope it all works out. Wish us luck! :)

I wish you much luck with passing your motorcycle license this spring. It is a great idea to plan a trip from Vermont to Maine to celebrate passing this test. It will be your 10th anniversary so that sounds really special and it will be fantastic for you to visit the same place you honeymooned in. Bar Harbor will be a pretty location for you and your husband to think back ten years of your life. It will be wonderful for you to camp at the beach front camping ground. Doing an early morning ride through Arcadia National Park would be fun for you. Taking a sightseeing trip would be magical and going out in a boat whale watching would be exciting. I hope that you and your husband do all this. Don't forget to take your camera.

I can't wait. I'd absolutely bring a camera. Last time I just had a icky 110 camera. Now I have a digi cam and hope to get a higher quality one by summer.

I know it's not a long drive or a far off getaway... I'd rather enjoy the Maldives for instance. But hey... it's a holiday, and in a wonderful location. The closer to home, the more room for spontaneity. Especially when the budget's under $2000.

I do hope it all comes to pass for you. I have been married ten years as well, but no big trip for us this year. In May we will go to Minnesota to see the daughter, son in law and grandbaby, though. That will be when we will have enough time to be off together. I have been in Vermont, but only just briefly to Maine. Not long enough to do a lot of sight seeing. Hubby's family is in Rhode Island, and New Hampshire.

motorcycle - Oh how freedom rings!!
That's wonderful news if you like riding motorcycles. I did at one time till I saw some accidents and now I'm not to keen on riding them anymore. I love the freedom it made me feel but I'm too scared of them now a days. I heard this from a biker that when another motorist finds out you're a female, they'll cut you off to see how fast you can hit the brakes. How cruel can someone be? In any case, I do wish you the best life has to offer includin the fun in riding!
