Drawing Result of UEFA Champions League has been Arranged ?????

Well, I always thought at least two English teams would play against each other, I think that outcome is logical. As for the outcome being arranged maybe it was, but I fail to see the reason for it. I think there are only two possibilities for arranging this. Economic reasons or to favor a certain team. I think we can rule out money because at this stage every game is sure to bring in heaps of money regardless of who plays against whom. As for favoring another team, Liverpool and Arsenal were certainly not favored, and the other three, Chelsea, ManU and Barcelona might seem to be playing against weaker teams, but Roma is not an easy team, they beat Real Madrid,Fenerbahce has been playing great and Schalke is a very good German team. So to me, if there were arrangements I see no point in them. Unless of course it was arranged by one of those betting rings I so much hear about but I wouldn't want to believe that.

Don't know about that but the draw does look very exciting. Liverpool vs Arsenal and Roma vs Man U. Chelsea has probably got the easiest draw, but it won't be that straight forward. Barcelona should make it to the next round.
