Hi sashuang, I get that you have the inclination to learn the language and trust me this is the first step towards learning it. 1. Watch lot of good English television channels: BBC, movie channels, National Geographic, Discovery.. 2. Read anything and everything that comes in your way. It could be a newspaper, comic cutout or a bestseller. 3. Converse in English with your family, friends and with people who would not mind imperfections. Enjoy learned man's company, listen to them intently and learn from them. 4. Do not lose heart. Everyone of us do mistakes but that shouldn't curb you from reaching your goal. 5. Read, read and read. listen, listen and listen to good stuffs. Good luck.

Try to speak no matter what the topic is.Read the blogs,news listen to news and english related programs. dont be shy to speak in front of others, be bold

For learning how to speak a language, I would suggest to recite the stories in that language as much as you can so that you can speak out easily afterwards. If you are not sure, you can give it a try! In long term, you will realize how good it is. Obviously, you also have to listen to the pronunciation well; otherwise your speaking may turn out into another meaning. For example, daughter and doctor; word and world etc. Good luck!

you can also find a foreigner to be your friend and you can talk with each other through skype.it's totally free and easy to use.it's helpful to improve your spoken english.but you must make sure you are not disturbing your friend.for me,i learn english on mylot just to do some posts every day.i feel well and my english is improved day by day.

the best way to improve a language is to keep touching it each moment.take an example,if you log on mylot every day and participate in discussions actively,im sure you'll have no difficulty in reading and writing english. to make a progress in listening english is the same.i suggest you listen to CCTV 9 every day,as that's the international channel which broadcasts in english. you'll improve a lot if you stick to. do you know skype? it's an instant message tool along with sound.you can chat with your foreign friends through it.it's favourable to your spoken english.

Oh I understand how you feel. I have tutored ESL students and they have greatly improved.Hers my advice: 1. Try watching English shows, movies, news. At first you will not understand but you will get hear they way words are pronounced correctly. 2. Try reading easy to read stories in english. It doesnt matter if its for children as long as you like it. Search words you don't understand. 3.Converse with english speaking people most of the time. 4. Hire a tutor that can study with you for at leadt an hour a day.
