Conficts have not been so bloody as in the recent years . People feel violence is the only solution to any difference to be soughted out . Though this isn't new for us the recent trend suugest there is a galvanisation in a world wide scale like never before .Another important factor is that there is effort to pull in faith and religion to bring all under one umberlla to put credibility in their inhumane deeds .In this form of war where the terrorist hide in a smoke screen of faith and religion ,it becomes a tight rope to walk .Can these types of conficts ever be won without proper dialogue process ? .
Please give your insight on this .
with regards

I am afraid I can't agree with you on this point. Conflicts were much more bloody in old times. In those times, genocides were so common that people took them for granted. Please think of the two world wars too. What human desasters they were. Today people are becoming more and more concious of the evil these wars had caused. Now at least it becomes more difficult to find protexts for a conficts. It is in itself an achievement of human civilizaiton (I can't say it is a great achievement though, far from that). If some people want to do evil things, they can use any protext, because they have to use one. Not only religion, but all other human activities, could be used to cover the evil these conflicts cause. So it is not religion causes evil, but that religion is one of the vicitims of the evil.

Yes I think we can:
1. All of us become terrorism so no need to be defeat. It will automatic defeat by itself.
2. American is disappear. All terrorists are there for U.S (almost 90%). SO if their target have gone, they do need any jobs to complete.
3. All religions are merged into one religion or no religion.

I think terrorism can be defeated but we all need to work hard. I think we can promote dialogue and debate and discuss. In spire of some people taking to arms we need to always seek proper channel to address the issue.

No, I don't believe so. we might be able to get it under control in one country, but there is always gonna be someone else in some other country that is gonna try to either get to us otr get to another country. it's just the way it ease and until the lord comes back it will always be that way. God lbess

have you ever seen the movie swordfish?
great movie
towards the end the person who i guess would be referred to as the 'bad guy' reveals that he is hired by the government to fight terrorism, his job is to make the penalty for terrorist acts against america so unimaginable that no one would ever dream to attack us. i think an example he uses is "they bomb a church, we bomb a city" id say this is the only way you could ever keep terrorist acts in check. people will always, ALWAYS find reasons to hate each other. whether its religion, race, or even where they live. hell ill bet someone hates me because my icon is an obnoxious orange. you cant expect a unifying belief to keep people from killing each other. there are only 2 things that people respond to, fear/punishment, and reward. you either have to make then so afraid of the consequences of their actions that they wont commit the crime, or they have to be motivated enough by the reward for not committing it to refrain from doing so. even if everyone did share the same religion, it would form sects as they all have, and even religion does control its followers with fear and reward, be good and youll go to heaven, misbehave and its straight to hell for you. so basically we either implement a reward for non-terrorist acts, or we make each and every one of them sh!t themselves out of fear of what will happen to them should they choose to detonate that bomb, or shoot that infidel.
