stamp collecting

In this era of technology, are there anyone who still do stamp collecting? cellular or internet seems better than mail.
I was collecting stamps when I was on elementary school.
Some may have a perception of stamp collecting as a somewhat dull avocation practiced only by aging intellectuals in their dusty studies.

i am also collecting stamps since my childhood, at college time it was delayed (can not say stopped) then i started again , i am into indian MNH stamps and miniature sheets, now i am thinging for GHANDI stamps world wide , it will be very helpful if any one can help me finding miniatures or stamps on GHANDHI ....

Hey there, I began over twenty years ago and recently returned to it, maybe twop years ago. I tried to make some money selling stampos at ebay and other auction sites and managed to sell a few.
I am mainly interested in Ireland stamps and set up a stamp exchange programme on my website. It was quite successful but I have not had any time to update it since last year, I have to get to it again soon.
