wicca, religon,

This was a huge debate at my job last year. My best friend is Wiccan, I am not, but I have read up on it and I support my friend. It ended up turning into a battle because there are way too many narrow minded people in the world. From what I've read and been told by my friend, Wicca is beautiful!! I'm still in a soul searching phase of my life. I do know that there is a power higher than us, I just am not sure what that is. I think anyone judging you needs to stop being a hypocrite and learn before speaking.

I think some religions think that we worship satan, and they don't completely understand what it is.

dont know. god is one & will be one. every religion has its own god but at the end every god is one. diffrent relisgions,different forms of gods. i think every relisgion is equal. & respect every religion, that canbe muslim,critisan,wicca ior some other relisgion. i respect everybody.

Because their religion states that it is the only right way and they will disagree with anyone that thinks differently to themselves, and look down on people of other faiths. As far as they are concerned, their way is the only way and everyone else is wrong and going to hell. The whole 'devil-worshipping' thing is just to put people down that they don't understand and discourage other people from sharing that faith.

Simply stated: IGNORANCE. People fear what they don't know.

I think it has to do with folk lore surrounding "witches". When people don't have correct information they fall back on what they do "know" no matter how inaccurate. Personally i find this religion very interesting, based on my limited knowledge.

I am A wiccan,and some people are that cruel...They think that we are evil,and we worship the Devil,and do black magic to hurt people,and so on,and so forth in that nature,and some people hate us simply because we have different beliefs than they do,and they do not wish to accept,and they do not understand our religion,or simply because the Bible they read,Says if someone pratices magic,They will go to hell...They do not understand... We are not like that..Most wiccans,and wiccas are nice people,But people are to afraid to get to know us,For different reasons..
