Animal spirits or guardians.

I'm very much a believer in Animal Guides and Totems and have been for several yrs...My life long totem is the Black Panther (leopard) and has been since I was a very young girl...The Ant also has been with me since I was very young but not as much as when I was little...Then there is the Brown Bear which is also a life long guide with me and my Native American Birth animal....Throughout my life there have been other animals that have come in for a time when I needed their wisdom but once the task was done they were gone... I just want to say though that its not a "shaman" belief but more a Native American one

i don't believe that animals can be your spirit guides, no. I believe in the Holy Spirit living inside a person from the one true God. God bless

I don't have any firm beliefs but this is one I would like to believe in. Once I was meditating to find a spirit guide and came up with an angel called Marge. I don't know if I was dreaming that or if it was real. I'd like to think it wasn't real because I'd prefer a wolf or something and with a more interesting name!

I have Hare, Bat, Hound, Toad and Crow. all pretty home grown, and not so exotic. some are aspects of myself, though, and others aspects of my deities, rather than an animal spirit in themselves.
