What is the first thing you look in someone you meet for the first time?

I always look at someone's eyes the first time we meet. Are they open, honest and intelligent. Then I look at the rest of them. Also do they have a firm handshake, because that usually signifies strength of character.

When meeting anyone for the first time I tend to go for personality, of course good flowing conversation is important too! Manners are also important for me too, not saying please or thank you is terrible. If we are talking dating looks are not important, I could be sitting with someone who is not the classic good looker - you don't need looks to make someone laugh!!,someone who has a great sense of humor is nice. I also have a thing about clean shoes and trainers, i must admit I don't do the scruffy look, a man who takes care in his appearance is good.

When I meet a girl then I always look at the personality, the way she acts etc. If I meet someone not relationship way then I just look at if he/she is a good friend, someone I can have a good conversation with and the way they behave, for both friendship and relationship.

I agree with you. People' behavior and mannerism are very important in the daily life,especially for the first time,because the first image may decide a lot in the communications. Thanks to share your opinion with us.
