I don't like using disposable products like cups, spoons, knives, forks etc. As it's a kind of a pollution. I care about the environment so that I don't waste things. Although disposable products are much more convenient as you don't have to wash them after a meal. But I still prefer not to use them to do something better our planet.

paper plates are great...they are biodegradeable also...i don't use anything that is plastic and disposable unless it can be recycled.

I am not a big fan of disposable products as I find them to be wasteful. there are a few products that I buy that are disposable. I buy paper napkins I buy paper toilet paper I buy paper facial tissues (though I also use handkerchiefs) I buy disposable cotton swabs I buy disposable bandages and other various sundry products. all these things can be substituted with re-usable items and I should consider that avenue more often.

It depends on the situation. I don't have any disposable items in my home right now, but a lot of the restaurants I frequent in China use them. It really bothers me because it is a waste especially since they use so much each day. It would actually be cheaper for them to use reusable items, but they consider it to be more hygienic to use disposables.

I don't use disposable products on a regular basis...but I do use them when I have a potluck party or else there will be too many vessels for me to wash....or whoever is hosting it. Sometimes, we have the potluck in the clubhouse and it will then be difficult to take other plates and dishes there and then to bring back all the dirty dishes back home to wash. That's the only time I use disposable products.

I use those disposable products like cups, spoons, knives and forks etc, mostly when having food in the fast food restaurants like KFC and pizza hut. Besides I also use paper plates during festive occasions and family gathering. We use porcelain plates, bowls and cups, stainless spoons and forts, wooden and bamboo chopsticks at home. We like using these ware and tableware as they are environment friendly.

I don't usually use them (when I am at home or something). But if I have to order take out and stuff, I got no choice but "accept" them. Sometimes they are just for convenience sake. Since me and my mom concern on the environment too, we would go out and eat if we could instead of ordering take out. But for work, sometimes there is no choice, but still I want to keep the usage of disposable products to a minimal.

I think our 3 canteens on this campus use a lot of foam ware each day. Lots of students use them to take food back to the dorm, including me. Some association did try to do something to help. But with so many students on a campus, it's not that easy to ban it. Besides, the canteens are no that willing to do so because they will lose profit. While at home, we use the disposable cups when there are some visitors, especially during the new year.

When I was a student, we tended to bring our own stainless steel food box. We didn't use disposable products at all at that time.

Some of us do some. But a lot more just don't because they think it's inconvenient.

Disposable crockery and cutlery is good for neither the environment or your bank balance, so I try and avoid it. Plastic cutlery and cups can often be rinsed and reused, so when I am given disposables when I'm out I often take them home with me. The plastic cutlery is good for my younger child to play with, or to give my elder one for his lunch when he's way from home. Paper cups make good containers for planting seeds in. they hold together just long enough for the seedling to be large enough to transplant.

I don;t really use disposable products unless its buying food from outside. But most of the time if I buy rice and dishes from outside I would bring along my tupperware container to put the food in. Other times I use disposable products is during parties. its eat then throw away. In my own home we don't use disposable products like plate, cups, fork and spoon.

I do sometimes. I guess it depends how you look at it. I am 'convenience' bound, meaning I use paper towels, clorox wipes, toilet paper, disposable feminine products. I also always have a stash of disposable plates, plastic silverware, and plastic cups. Now I don't tend to use those unless I'm just having a wrap or a sandwich, but I use them for ANY get together, birthday, celebration, anything where I'm having a bbq or having people over for food. Nobody wants to clean for a party and then have to load the dishwasher 3 times (or god forbid) handwash 3 sinkfuls of dishes afterwards, as well as clean up all the serving bowls and spot clean everything else. If somebody else was doing all the prep and all the cleanup, well then it wouldn't matter to me, but I'm not going to spend an extra 2 hours doing stuff in order to have less disposable waste. That's just my opinion though. For me, the benefits have to outweigh the negatives.

We do use paper plates and plastic flatware all of the time, but we also recycle. Our town pays for the recycled paper, plastic and glass that we take in. We don't do it all the time. They also pay for recycled cans that we take in. We always recycle those. We need to recycle all of the time, but sometimes we don't. I can't stand to think of all of those landfills with mounds of trash piling up every day.

The only disposable products I use is paper towels and I don't use them all that much. I know my mom used to come over and ask where the paper plates were and I told her that I didn't have any. I may use things like that if I am having a very large outdoor party and it's just cheaper and easier to do it that way. But, I really try to use reusable products whenever possible.

Disposable products is total waste. I don't like taste of plastic and I don't use it. I don't use plastic bags either. I have my own shopping baskets and it works very well.

Yeah I know my family does like when ever we have a get together we always buy paper plates and paper cups. We hardly ever use our own dishes or silverware. It just makes cleaning after a lot easier when using paper plates. And I know no one wants to do dishes if a lot of people come over so its just easier to use paper plates and silverware. But I actually perfer regular dishes when eating with just my family thats what we use.

Sorry to say it my friend but I used disposable product occasionally. Birthday like that. I don't think of that I know it not going to do good to our environment and sad to say but I really don't think about it all I think is the convenient way of using it. I will try to limit it until the day I will no longer used disposable product. Thanks for the reminders.
