What would you do if there is no more Discussions to respond in Mylot???

i am so fond of myLot that I think that I would consider setting up my own version of myLot. The downside is that you need a serious amount of money to do it properly. $200,000 at least.

I wouldn't quit mylot because I have made a lot of good friends here and I enjoy it. But it would be awful if the discussions ran out, although I don't think that could ever happen because there has to be millions of old discussions so I could just respond to the old ones.

If this really were to happen, I definitely will create a new discussion to ask earnestly everyone here to start a new discussion daily according to their interests. If 1/5 of the users here support me, we then would have at least 20 thousand of new discussion to pick per day.

I would just wait for more discussions because I know eventually they would come back.

Well first of all, we will never run out of discussions to respond to. There have to be millions of them here, I am sure. So if you can't find any recent ones all you have to do is search for the older ones. You may ask how to do that, just go to one of your friends from your list and check out their old ones by flipping through the pages. You will never run out of discussions to respond to. Or if there is a particular subject you like to respond to just search it out in the search bar at the top of the page. I have a lot of friends on my list, about 90 and they are all pretty active with starting discussions so I never have to search any out. I get about 100 emails a day notifying me that one of my friends started a discussion and some of the emails have 5 or more discussions attached to the one email so I am, in reality, getting about 500 emails a day, since my email provider bunchs them together when they come from the same person.

Morning Mnsrwt Since i've only been here 3 weeks i probably post similiar discussions from others and never know it till they are posted then i see similiar ones like it at the bottom of the discussions..although things aren't all the same and i don't have as many frinds as you, I don't get to see discussions from everyone..so i guess i'll have to add more friends to fix that LOL...Till then i'll keep posting away!

I would get away from the site till there are some topics of discussion that interest me and make me respond.

Given the rate at which discussions are posted on myLot, it will be difficult for that to happen but to answer your question, I'd create my own discussions and wait for people to respond to them... that way, i'd be generating more discussions to solve the problem of no discussions.

hmmm if there were not more discussions to respond to I would get myself buys if i had the time for it. I would post new discussions, comment on old discussions , respond to comments, get the whole thing going again LOL But I don't think we will ever come to that, even if it's just trivial questions I find that sometimes we can find posts to respond:)

I cannot imagine there being no discussions to answer but if it were to happen I would keep in touch with many of my friends via email and we might even start our own site! For now though I am more than happy to stick with mylot! xxx

In fact sometimes I feel there are no more interesting discussions in Mylot for me to respond to. I feel very disappointed to it. And at that time I will tend to think out discussions for others to reply. But it's not very easy to think out a good discussion. But if everyone acts like me, then we don't have to worry about no discussions for us to reply to

I would start a new discussion asking why no one was posting any discussions and go over all my old ones and add comments to get it going again and respond to existing discussions so it would never happen. Even look up the information if I didn't know anything about the subject. Ellie :D

I really don't see this happening because with all of us we could always come up with something to talk about. And even if you take into account all the people who repeat post or abuse the system, those of us that are here to talk will continue to do just that. I will respond to whatever anyone else is talking about. I will make my own discussions but I like hearing other peoples opinions. Good question.

Well, i guess that day will never come, because a lot of things happens around us everyday, and there always are some topics we can discuss on. But if this happens, i think i will keep starting new discussions and waiting for responses, at the same time, i will introduce new friends to mylot, i'm sure fresh blood will give this community more vigor!

It won't happen but if myLot didn't have any discussions available, I would start several of my own. At this point in time, I don't plan to quit myLot. It's another way for me to earn some extra spending money and to keep in touch with friends.

i would just try to start my own discussions. hehe i will have to frequent the net by then, check out other sites for disccusion ideas... i'll do that and let everyone respond. :)

]i think there are so many discussion in Mylot interest. so i think there will be no less. Still if there is none, i will try to find some myself and start taht under Mylot interset.i think thats a good idea.

with the way mylot gets more and more members each day, i bet there will never be a time when mylot will get no new discussions to read through. but ifever that time will come where there will be no new topics posted to respond i will be the one to post a new and sensible topic so that other users will have something to respond to.

i will start a new discussion if i have a new idea or i can comment on my responses.i have started so many discussions and there are so many responses that i can't catch up commenting in time.what's more,the responses to my discussion are increasing the moment i'm commenting.

Argh! it is quite annoying when I don't have topics to respond anymore. Specially when I don't feel like responding to a discussion that had been done before! I also don't like to respond to people who do surveys like "What do you like to eat? Chicken or beef?" They mostly just don't make sense and I don't like responding that can just be done in one word. Now for your question, When I have nothing to do anymore in myLot. I either visit another website or just turn off the computer and hope that somebody can come up with a good discussion to respond to later.
