would you rather comment or start a discussion?

it all depends on what i feel on a particular day. if i feel like writing and i have something good to tell or a question, i would prefer to start a discussion so that would get my answer or suggestions from mylot users. sometimes i feel like commenting on a discussion because i feel like it is a good discussion and i want to contribute or just say my opinions on that particular subject.

it depends on my mood...if i need answers to anything or feel like and how much time I have. I'd day I usually start between 1-3 discussions each day and comment on anywhere between 10-40...

i think i got the same numbers like you do. keep up the good work. there are a lot more discussion for you to comment. if there is nobody like you our there commenting on people's discussion, writers would stop writing because they are not getting any feedback on their work. that's why you are important.

Me too...Unless I get an interesting idea that could get the interest, or when I need opinions on a matter, then I start a new discussion.
But, I usually respond to discussions already created...it may happen that an idea pops out from the discussion I replied to...

we should be more proactive about writing discussion because if we all do one thing the most then the there would not be anybody writing discussions. i know it's fun commenting to someone's discussion but we should try to limit or balance our discussion and comments.

I like commenting because i see a lot of disccusions that pop up every seconds and i relate to these discussions. i also believe that i earn more by commenting on somebody else's discussions. i don't mind writing my own discussions but sometimes you just get writer's block and to get your mind back to writing you have to answer to some dicussions and get some ideas.

Yeah I agree with you. It is not everyday that we are flowing with good ideas, you know. I mean, somehow in our busy minds, ideas are arising but we don't always feel the urge to express that every idea we think of. On days that I feel like I have the urge to write my idea and to ask a certain question that made me think, it is more of creating a discussion for me. Otherwise, I am responding on some discussions that caught my interest. =)
