Does blogging waste time?

I love blogging!
I am thinking to boost the traffic **if anyone knows how to do it fast**.

It is all about computers,tech,hardware,software,games,movies,etc.
Some people told me that blogging can be very successful, so that I did this. Well, is that right?
I do not know. I am a new bie and people's responses toward my blog so far so good. I do understand that some people create blogs for hobbies; but me? I have done it for both hobbies and making extra money. What do you guys think?

Oh guys she/he got a very beautiful blog i suggest you look at it. I love it. you did good there. I have one but the traffic is so slow i don't know what to do with it.
