Luke in a wheel chair?

I know I am so bored with the stupid show I might have missed something, but why is Luke in a wheelchair? And also, i read the little clip about what it is on my channel guide nad it said something like "luke overhears Scotties confession to Lulu". But then when I watched it, Scottie didn't say anything...did I miss something? Lulu found out Scottie killed Rick Webber and let Laura think she did it and Luke made her remember so that is why she is like she is (I think that had to be the GH Stupidist Storyline Ever!) but Lulu says she isn't going to tell cause Luke will kill Scottie and then go to jail - yeah,like either would happen! But ... why is Luke in a wheel chair?

he had surgery on his knee i think but in real life no gh life. so the writes wrote it in the show. i hope this helps.

Oh, well that would explain! You'd think they'd do better tho with the cameras - show him already sitting or something. Oh well, not a Luke fan anyway!

I know! TRhey have just destroyed the Luke character. I never cared a lot for him in the first place, but at least the story lines were exciting and good. I'd a much rather they kept Robert Scorpio than Luke!
And yes, too, most character these days have no nothing about them. Rumor has it they are killing Lucky off. Why? First, there goes the spencer clan and since the Q's are nearly gone too, there's no legacy going on anymore. But let's not keep Lucky who they can give all kinds of storylines to, but let's make sure we keep Patrick, who has one storyline - ever and only!
I'm not to happy with the show and a 39 year vet - I'd rather be watching Jessie Brewer/Audry hardy/Steve Hardy trio and the "going's on" in the medicine room!

I was wondering myself why the wheel chair I have watched the show for over 30 years now and they have turned Luke into such a ridiculous mess they actually have done a good job at that pretty much with everyone lately

Sorry I don't have anything to give. I must have missed it too. I actually have only been skimming through the episodes. Right now and GH is one of the reasons I am so happy for my DVR.

I have been watching, althouh muting so much of it...Robin and Patrick, Nickolas and his problems, Sonny and Kate. One day they showed Luke on the couch at Lucky's and then the next week or so, Fridays episode, he is wheeling himself into Logans room in a wheel chair! No explanation or surprise or comment from anyone! Not that I really care, I never did like the Luke character and these days he is completely ridiculous, but this seemed out of hte blue...even for him!
