If Your Mylot User Name was Changed

When my friend first asked me to look into mylot I did sign up. I really had no idea I'd get so into it. So when I selected my username, I just picked a username I've used before on different things. I didn't give it much thought at all. If I had known mylot would be something I kept at, I might have chosen something else. I don't know what it would have been, but it most likely would have included 'jeter' in it because, well, I would lay claim to Derek Jeter if I could. So if you had a chance to rename yourself on here, of if you were forced to rename yourself (your username), what would it be and why?

I've been a member here for just over three months and not very active until recently, but now I can see myself spending much more time here. I signed up with my user name because on the day I was feeling a little nuts. Now that I've been here and interacted with more people, if I had the chance to change my user name, I'd sign up as *fireofinsanity* as I've caught the mylot madness. lol

If ever it is possible to change my name or username here at my lot, it will be still ny username with added of another name instead of 00 at the end.I like two names combined as one, that is the reason. What if mylot really allow us to change our username? i will be glad of this if happens. When i signed up here at my lot i did not think of my lot usename but instead used my name and add 00.

I use my username in alot of different sites like you but I really like and enjoy that name alot, but if I was forced to change it I would change it to Moon_Dreamer or Bratty_Rebel74 Both of these are familiar to me and I use them quite often.

Me fiesty? Na..well maybe on occasion when hubby is stepping on my last nerve.. But I chose the name because both have special meaning for me. I have had these names since birth pratically. One Uncle calls me little Rebel..another Uncle calls me Brat, in a good way. It just names that stuck and I still get called that today. Especially by my Uncles. Atleast Becky bear butt didn't stick of course I got that name when I was a year and a half and refused to keep a diaper on. Moon_dreamer is because I'm a moon child something to do with astrology and I am a dreamer.

When I signed up, I just used the username I had been using elsewhere. If I could change it to something a bit more anonymous, I sure would. I would feel more secure in sharing things if I were sure others couldn't tell who I am. Maybe something with +1 in it as I would love to be The Doctor's companion on Dr. Who.

I actually wouldn't change my username in Mylot, I like it. I had to think quickly too and only used maddysmommy once before so decided to use it again :)

I don't think I'd change it either if I had a chance, I just wondered if anyone had any backups.

I thought about this the other day. But knowing that I can never change it, unless I start over again with a new account. I didn't give a new name much thought. I wish I had spelled my name correctly instead of spelling it Rozie, I would have spelled it, Rosie.

When referring to you just by the name of Rozie, would you rather me spell is like Rosie?

Well in honor of your mother I shall then try to remember to refer to you as Rosie.

It doesn't matter, except that the "S" is how my mother spelled it. I am named after her. That is why it is so special to me. When I spell it with a "Z," it is one of my alias' LOL.

Hi Ambie, If I was given the option to change my user name, I don't think I would bother to change mine. Charms88 has been with me for a year. We went through a lot and we both worked hard to where we are today. Charms is a reflection of one part of my personality. It would look strange should I change it to something else. It isn't my nature to use the same user name in every forums I joined. I really thought hard for this user name and I think you would agree, that it suited me well. =)

Ekkk! I wouldn't have a clue what to rename myself. I've used my username just about everywhere that needs a username for about five years...I've only had my computer for a year, but did have access to computers before that, so when I needed a username I wanted to use something that I could easily remember and picked pyewacket since that is the name of one of my kitties...uh, sounded better than Kissy (the name of my other cat)--now it's gotten to be such a part of my personality I can't even think of another name..

Does Kissy feel neglected? After all, pyewacket is more famous.

Ha, ha...my friend...think of "black cat," a name only this Little Bunny have the right to use. Anyone who use it should be ready to face copyright infringement, lol!

I would be choosing "JNY" that is sort of shortened jeanniemay. It's easier to remember and easier to type. Hehe! Seriously, when I signed up, mylot did not accept my first option, they don't accept 3 character names, so I just used my real name.

Yeah, I'm not quite sure what the harm is in using three letters for a username. It's better than having a 15 letter user name.

I have never thought of it before...it might be Jillian....or something similar. Since Jill is my first name but my daughter in laws cousin whom I just love, her name is Jillian...and I really like that!

Hey lady! Are you going to check out Myles of Style tonight on HGTV? I remember you and I were like one of very few people who watched last season's The Next Design Star, and Kim's show is on tonight for its premiere.

I would just add Mrs. to Hatley thus everone would know I am not a guy as I found out when I first joined MyLot.some thought I was a man because I just used my last name.

Sometimes I check people's profile to see their gender, but they don't list it! So then I'm really careful how I refer to the poster. When I saw your name, Hatley, I assumed a man was writing until I read your post (not this one, a prior one). By then I could tell.

I should probably add something to my profile showing I am a she so to speak. I think the name hatley really does sort of sound masculine but then I guess I had heard so many of my husband's friends call hin Hatley. I do try to make my responses sound more feminine.

I like my username. I chose it to repressent something about me. I am a potter, I enjoy making pots. So if I was forced to change my username I was would stick with something similar. Perhaps, rollinginmud, throwingclay, fromtheearth.... something like that.

I wouldn't change my username. My username represents me metaphorically and literally (there's an oxymoron for you :) )
