Any suggestions on a flash editing program for websites.

I am trying to get my website up and running. This is the first time I have built a site from scratch. I am using Host Gator as my host and they advertised free templates and free site builder and it all looked great. Now I am on with the live chat people all day long an keep finding out I need to buy this or download that. Now I need to download a flash editing program. I can't seem to find a good one for me. I know absolutely nothing about website building. I found a really nice template that I now have on my site but now I need to edit it. Does any one have any suggestions on a good program? Free or cheap would be nice. I really only want something that will let me edit the text and pictures on the template. I thought I could just use html editing but the Host Gator says I need to use Flash editing even though I just want to change the text and pics. Please help. I've been struggling with this site for a week now and I have nothing to show for it!
