Do you think chinese is important for you

I think this is a very good idea. I have always wanted to learn more conversational and written chinese since I am of chinese descent. If you are interested become my friend and we will make arrangements! :)

Learning another language is great, my mother tongue is spanish and I can speak english moderately well, but I think for me to learn Chinese at this point in life would be very difficult, as it is completely different from what I speak, even the characters are different, so I don't think I would try it. But I do think you have a very good idea and I think some people might take you up on it.

I still want to learn Chinese or Mandarin. I am thinking to move to Singapore maybe in the next few years from now. And I think it's important to learn Mandarin since there are some people also using Mandarin or Chinese language in Singapore.

of course i think so. because i am from china too. :P chinese is my mother languge. nowdays more and more people learn chinese. they think it is important. :P:P
