Operating system eases the way in which we do work. There are operating systems for different purposes like some use Macintosh, Windows Xp, Vista, professional, starter edition, basic, home, etc.
Then there arre operating systems for programmers or developers in general for software people UNIX.
Then there is a free source operating system which is rapidly gaining market share which is known as LINUX, yes the advanced versions are charged which have inbuilt graphical usage.
I sincerely accept UNIX and windows as it helps me a great deal in navigation.
Let me know which operating system you would like to use and why.

Well i use Windows xp and its the best operating system i ever worked on, It looks great and the speed is enough and also xp supports multitasking and multiprocessing very efficiently. I never fed up with Windows xp and i continue my operating system as xp.
Thanks

hey you look good in that picture, almost all of the users in the world prefer windows for the comfort it offers. It is one of my favorite but not everyone can afford right, why not use free OS because no one knows how to operate it.

i have been using windows operating system since i have started my carrier in it. but it is not as good as i think.
Linux or Unix are my favorite OSs. Because they are more secure and reliable.Thats why all the IT industries are using
these OSs.

Yes most of them use windows because linux gives you real trouble in installation time and unix always because it works on command line.

My favourite would be windows xp since it works well with all the existing softwares n are compatible with a lot of hardwares. But I have gotten bored with the interface so I changed to windows vista. It looks cool but unfortunately it has some compatibility issues n consumes a lot of memory.

Vista consumes lot of memory and during any core process my RAM takes a beating. It sure consumes lot of memory because of which i was unable to install it. I had seen it in my friends computer it was good.
