Are you affected by Mylot time machine?

Nothing weird. I don't even know what that is. Is it something you need to set in your profile? The only emails I get from mylot is if I have a private message. I wouldn't want to be notified of discussions anyway. I don't need any more junk in my inbox when I can just sign into mylot to see the discussions.

I think most people haven't been receiving notifications over the weekend myself included but I also even had problems sending PM yesterday also even though some I sent got through. Very strange things seem to be happening. I am just going through and responding as usual and waiting for it to get sorted. Have reported to MyLot but received nothing back yet. Make some extra space in your inbox for when they do start coming through again. The one from nine months ago though very strange. Ellie :D

I am getting no emails the last 2 days driving me crazy hunting people to respnd to

I turned my notifications off awhile ago. I was getting crazy mad emails. I would rather look through the discussions my friends started when I sign in here. Yes, 60 discussions started in one day by one person is crazy mad!! That person must have had alot on their mind!! :P PEACE

Since I turned off my notifications I don't have this problem. Now that I see what everyone else is going through I'm happy that I did.

The empty mailbox syndrome has hit us all, it seems. I'm confident that the mylot admin is working on it and soon our mailboxes will be stuffed to the gills with notices.

If you responded to say a discussion from 6 months ago then someone on your list added a comment to your response it moves that discussion to the top once again. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Yep, I decided to not to be here yesterday. I believe the admin are still having trouble in configuring out and updating our e-mails, I know that there are LOST mails that I still haven't received. And as for those OLD posts, I haven't received any of them on my e-mails ye and hopefully would not..

I have seen this happen and then when you respond to it... the topic isn't even relevant anymore... since I haven't been here in a while I don't know if it's still going on or not. Thanks Zelo

No I am not. I turned off the notification since I don't like them flooding my inbox. I respond to my friends discussions whenever I am here. I know I haven't been here much recently, but when I am here I always go to my friends' discussions first.

I have been noticing that discussions from months ago are popping up again. I think it is just a glitch in the system. When something happens the mylot people do fix it. It may take them a tad bit of time to get it taken care of but they do solve the problems as they arise.

It has definitely been weird, even for a quirky guy like me. I've received nothing (not even the daily "myLot Digest") in my email since sometime Friday. At first, I thought that I must have been putting up some pretty boring posts, but then I realized that other people were having the same problems. I hope they get things sorted out soon. On the bright side, this has forced me to hunt for postings by other members, and I've found some interesting discussions I might have otherwise missed.

I think something happened in myLot's system yesterday. A lot of people were getting no notifications from discussions, but I don't know of marking an old discussion as new. I think everything is OK now. myLot hasn't given any explanations yet, though. Is there?

Hi dear its strange well i am not bombard with old notification but some times it happen to me then i dont get notification from my lot but when i go to my lot i can see differnt responses are there for which i got no notification So it may happen Take care

Yes I got a couple through as well that I had already responded to and also I got some of my Discussions where People had already responded I got a second Mail through for it

I too got odd dated emails the past couple days. I received a few twice too.

the last two days i was not here much. on the weekends i don't mylot that often. and this weekend I had the house to myself and all i did was lay around and do nothing and loved every single moment of it

LOL Hey so many people have been trying to find a real time machine.. I guess we're lucky, we found one. Actually, to be honest I didn't notice but I wasn't here much for the last few days. It's report card time and as much as I can multi task I need to concentrate on the proof reading thing. I know that there was this day were we didn't receive any email notifications at all, and then the next day i was getting all the ones I should receive on that day. But then after that I have been quite busy and didn't notice anything. I just came here for a bit today.

Yes, I had the same thing like what you had. But I did not reply all the mail since it was too much. Just continue with others.
