I got loads of bouquets for my birthday this time, one better then the other. I feel so cheerful at the sight of them. But I know, that they wont be fresh for long in this heat. Share ways to increase the life of the flowers at least for some days. Should I take off the cellophane paper or leave it like that.Is it required to shift the flowers to a vase.

What I usually do is I add a little sugar on the water. It makes fresh flowers last longer, but of course after some time it will still get wilted. If you really want the keep the flowers, why don't you preserve it? There are shops that offer that kind of service. It's a process where they put chemicals on flowers, dry it and then placed in a frame. It's so nice to look at. Why don't you check it out?

I always add lemonade or sugar to the water and that usually keeps them fresh for ages, howver these days most come with a sachet of granules that you can put into the water. Happy birthday enjoy your day and enjoy the flowers. Elle :D
