What is your work?

Hey guys and gals. I'm just wondering. I'm thinking that most of the people here are all Information Technology Professionals. Because I think, doctors, nurses, teachers may not have enough time checking their computer and collaborate with people here at my lot. So my question to everybody is, what is your work? Are you an IT professional? Or a farmer maybe? So to begin, I'll answer first.
I am an IT Consultant and I've been working in the IT industry for 8 years already. How about you?

I'm an assistant in the market department. usually i work in the office and with computer, so i have more time to go to mylot

That's a great advantage to you. Maybe, you are using mylot to gain more ideas in your marketing strategies.

Time is something you can't stop. As long as you do your job, before you know it, you already have gained huge amount of experience.
Looks like, there are more nurses here at mylot than IT professionals.

i'm in fashion design and retail fashion. the company i work for owns stores in major malls and sells a local clothing line. basically, my work is to conceptualize and design the jeans they're selling. i love it and i think i'll be doing this for quite a while unless better opportunities are presented to me in the future.

I actually work for a financial publishing company. Most of the work that I do is on the computer, and on the internet. I tend to have mylot opend and minimized on my computer almost the whole time that I am here at work. I dont get to spend that much time on mylot, but whenever I get board, or I just need a breather I maximize the screen and start talking to the great people that I have met on this site.

I'm retired! Yay! lol I've been retired since 2001. Before that I worked at Social Services as a Medicaid Caseworker. Before that, Data Entry Operator. Even though I am retired, I still find it difficult to stay on long...but I'm trying!

I wish I were at IT professional. 
Nah, I'm just a bank teller. And I can't even get online at work, because the bank doesn't let us. So mylot is something I do in my free time at home, usually while watching my son play or in between chores. It's my relax time.

Hi dried mango, my friend, nice to know that you are an IT Consultant. i am a Fashion Designer and married. now i am a mom of a three month old baby so i have no time for anything except my baby. i cant leave my baby with any one . i use to work before but now my work is my BABY and i am LOVING it. :-).
it is such a wonderful experience in itself that it completes a lot of in completeness in one's life,( i think), may be it is different for others as everybody's thinking is different.

I am a Registered Nurse. I have been an R.N. for close to 20 years. I work at a large inner city teaching hospital in NE Ohio.
I work part time. If I worked full time, I probably would have no time for mylot!

Hello! I am a teacher. Yes, I have time for myLot. Before I discovered myLot, I'm already a computer addict and a writer. I write articles in Helium.com and I tutor people at livemocha.com for free. Teaching is my passion so free is okay. Writing in Helium is more on sharing my thoughts as a shy writer. =)
