How long do you want to live?

I think my response corresponds with yours. I think I want to live for as long as my body can stand life and its givings. I would say I have the chance to live up to 100 as both my paternal grandfather and grandmother had the gene of longevity, if we may call it that, for lack of better term. Anyhow, it would give me pleasure to grow up to the age where I would be able to share joy with my grandchildren's children, as did my kids with my grandmother. It was fun. She passed on last year at the ripe age of 93, as they say.

I want to live as long as you :) becouse ve have the same opinon. Why stay alive when you cant nothing to do and the pain is stronger than taste of life?

I would like to live to my 100s. But only if I was in good health, and had everything going good in life. If I am in bad health and suffering then I would like to die much earlier.

this is really a hard question and our young brains will jump to say very old ages at first, but if you think more detailed it might cause some troubles as you mention. but also, if you say a young age then you might miss some opportunities in the life, then it is really a good thing not to know that, if only we had a chance to end it whenever it gets irresistable but God knows all the best. If you are happy and have acheieved your goals in life,then it is good to live as long as you are healthy. Because health is a very important issue when the age gets old. you might get alzheimer and may need other people's assistance necessarily and this is not the best thing to experience really. I wish a happy life for all of you, short or long but wish you a real happy life that you will achieve your goals and feel good.

I only want to live as long as I am able to get up and around and enjoy it. I do not have any great desire to live until I am 90 or 100 if it means I am in constant pain, incontinent and can't care for myself. As long as I can get up and around, enjoy my family and be somewhat happy, I want to continue living.
