Yes, it's true... many of us, myself included, use the tokens sparingly to buy mini mall stuff etc, just 'cuz we like having the big number of tokens next to our name! It's fun and I suppose it gives a degree of credibility if you have a few million tokens (proves you've been around POGO a while and are a legit player, not a troll).
Anyway, I love the BadgeAddicts site... you will also like the way they show all the games and their ranks and so on. It's a very useful resource for the serious POGO-er.
