What is the best earning method on the internet?

I have been working with PTC sites, affiliate marketing and many more just to realize that my affiliate websites are not optimized into search engines and not enough earned through PTC sites. In spite of that, PTC sites, I believe are one of the best as one can earn enough if their is a good boost from the referrals.
What do you think is the best method of earning on the internet?

the best method is the buy being the one who owns the servers everyone has their sites located on. It is guaranteed to be unexciting, very little trouble for you personally as there is always someone to blame for hardware or software failures, but it is very hard to get into without a multi million dollar investment.
