how to make a bootable cd/dvd?

There are a lot of ways to do it. If you are honestly making a disk rather than trying to copy software disks like windows use PowerISo which can easily be downloaded, though be afraid of the ones from warez sites some of the copies will implant a virus into the bootable section of the disk. To make your computer actually boot a disk you need to go into the bios and make sure the drive is listed as the first bootable device as well.

well i think in nero when you burn there is and option for bootable options... so i guess you can try that...

Most of the CD/DVD writing softwares have this option. Nero Express is a good program and I use it. It has an option called "Create Bootable Disc" where you can create the bootable disc. Bootable discs have a few files that are written to boot the system from the disc. If you want to make a bootable anti-virus disc, go to that option, add the installer to the list and create the disc. Other necessary files are automatically added to the disc.

I don't know what a bootable cd is lol I think I know just aren't 100% sure Is it a CD/DVD that boots up when you put it in a computer?
