I'm an indonesian, im studying in the philippines. My english also not that good. In indonesia, we are using bahasa indonesia for our first language. I just took my toefl course before continue study medical technology program in the philippines. For me, its also quiet difficult since they are using english for all subjects, reports and presentation. I really force myself to review many times all the subject, so i can still adjust with classmates. Anyway, if you keep practice, i think you can do it!!!
Gud luck...

Relax presenting to the class is a way to make you to build self confidence. when you talk to people the better you will become. if your English is no good time will help you. it is not a shame or disgrace that your English is different. keep working on it. Chinese is good language and it is hard to change to English. but you are doing good. be courageous and go in there and present your work. you can even start by saying this is my first presentation I have never done any thing like this before. then you go on to what you wanna say. that should be really helpful .

I am from America and I currently teach in China. I see that the students here do study a lot differently than what I am used to. There is very little practical that I have seen here. It seems they only care about test scores here and then wonder why people can't DO anything. I read an article a while back that said that although Chinese universities graduated six million students (I may have misremembered the number), most foreign companies could not find workers that could do the jobs. I try to get my students to do some kind of presentation (I teach oral English to freshman English majors at a university). It doesn't always work, but at least it gives them a feel for talking to people. And since most of my students are studying to teach English, it would be good for them to get a feel for speaking. There is one thing I told my students last week: Think positive. Tell yourself you can do it. When someone (even you) says something negative, turn it around into a positive. Good luck!!!
