How to make more money

Do people that live in sunnier states make more money than people who live in states or regions where there are four seasons or less sun? I live in an area where there are four seasons and you never know what to expect. As a matter of fact it's raining right now and yesterday it snowed a little. I was thinking that a more consistantly sunnier environment would cause people to want to get out more, spend more. What do you think?
