I suppose that this is why prenuptial agreements are so popular. To limit the amount that a new spouse can receive if the marriage breaks up. I vaguely remember Paul McCartney saying that as this marriage was for the rest of his life, he wasn't going to bother with such a thing. He probably regrets that now. Whilst I have no time for Ms Mills and am not a fan of the solo former Beatle, she is entitled to a reasonable amount. But the £24 million plus seems to me a tad generous for a very short marriage, although there is a child that needs to be considered. £2.4 seems more equitable.

I seen a little bit about this on the news today. From what I have heard that he put his ex-wife through, and still putting her through, I think she deserves some of the money for it. I'm not sure how much but why should he stay rich and let her go lower than him, is the way I see it. She deserves something if she was any kind of wife to him at all.

I think this is blown way out of the water. I do not think she deserves nearly this amount of money, it is so unfair. I can see her getting child support and splitting some of what they got while married but I don't see how she is entitled to such high dollars.

I think that famous people not have respect for the money... They have many money and lawyers are cleverly and benefit from that.....
