Do you shave your legs in the winter?

I do for special occassions, other than that, why bother. If there is no reason to, no one is going to see it, who cares. I'd do it for a special occassion with my significant other, but other wise, he doesn't care. It's quite nice to be able to not worry about that.

It's nice to hear that some boyfriends don't really get upset about it. The way I hear some guys talk it's like women shouldn't have any hair at all!

I think you live in the tropics, right? Yeah, I would wear shorts most of the time if I lived in the tropics, too. In temperate zones, it tends to get too cold for shorts during certain times of the year.

I am a hairy wolf, to shave my legs would take hours and I like my hairy legs, always have done, I did shave my stomach once and it grew back stubbly and itchy and it took forever to do, I hate shaving, so I try and get away with as little as possible. Legs are not important, but the face is so that stays smooth the rest of me is hairy and hairy I stay.

He he. There's probably less pressure for you to shave your legs if you're not a woman in certain countries, eh?

I still shave just not as often as I do when it's warmer out. I don't have a tendency to wear shorts too often anyway, but sometimes in the summer I do wear shorts so I do shave more just in case I decide to wear shorts. In the winter time, I only wear shorts to bed, so I don't care much about whether or not I shave. That is, until it starts to bother me way too much.

Thanks for answering. I guess when you're in colder climates, there's less of an incentive.

Why do women shave their legs, anyway? How did that start? When did hair on one's legs become unacceptable?
And underarm hair, too, why?
I'm told that it is more feminine to shave legs and underarms. Why is that? Who decided? If it were more feminine wouldn't women not grow hair there?
Is this the case in other countries, cultures?

In the winter my legs are usually covered. So If there is a special event then yes I make the effort. Otherwise I tend to wait for spring. So all winter long, I've probably shaved my legs 3-4 times.

Oh wow! I don't know if I could do that. It sounds great, though.

Wow, once a week! I don't think I can go that long without shaving them, though I've tried. I usually do mine every other day.

Thanks for answering. Yeah, some people don't have any body hair whatsoever.

I don't usually shave my legs when i know I'll be wearing pants for a while. My "bodily" hair is very fine and blondiesh, so I don't stress out about it. xD

Thanks for answering. I have darker hair, but it's getting sparse on my legs probably because of my age and years of shaving it.

I shave my legs almost every day all year round. I'll admit, there are the odd days here and there in the winter when I don't bother. If I know I'm not having company that night, and I just want a quicker shower, then I might not shave them. Like this morning. I didn't shave my legs. Granted, I am fair haired, so it's not like you can tell just by looking.

I shave my legs in the winter. We have a YMCA that has an indoor pool so we go swimming all year long. Plus if you go to the gym to workout or play basketball it is much more comfortable in shorts.

Yes, I shave them all year round. I suppose it is just a habit and it bugs me if I have prickers on my legs when I am sleeping.
I have dark hair and my hair grows fast, so I shave everyday in the shower. Underarms too!

I have the same problem when the hair starts to grow back. I can't stand to let them go for more than a couple of days, it drives me crazy!
