Better Discussions?

I agree with you my friend. There are more and more discussions of good quality here at myLot. The topics are more interesting lately. I do hope that there will be more and more good discussions in the days to come so that we could also have more reasons to respond to certain discussions.

I have noticed that there are a lot more discussions that I want to respond to lately. It like it. There were days when I did not post very much mostly because I could not find many things that I wanted to respond to. It has been much better lately.

I answer a lot more discussions myself then I start them So I agree with you. I even search discussions to reply to. That way I have a idea on how to reply to them.

I do agree sweetheart! i have also noticed that a lot of mylotters who have not been around for a while are reappearing and I wonder if there is perhap a connection? What do you think? xxx

I have been a little inactive for the past few weeks. Although I have logged into myLot, I just tried to post some discussions and have not really replied to discussions that much. I think it was because most of the discussions posted for the past weeks were not really interesting. There were so many one-liner discussions that don't make any sense at all. Recently though, there are more and more topics that I can respond to because they are interesting and are of my cup of tea.

I haven't noticed such a change in here yet, maybe I should check it more carefully. Although, there is a change for me and it is not a good one, in the past weeks I used to start some new discussions but for the last few days i am not really good at it and lost inspiration on it. But at least I look for more discussions to answer, maybe answering more discussions than I used to, took me away from starting new ones but I am not sure.

Well, from what I have seen in the 17 months I have been here, it definately comes and goes in spurts. A lot of the time, it depends I feel on who is Active in here, and what is going on around the world, and in someones life. Right now there is a lot going on as in the Economy, etc. to talk about. But I do agree with you 100%. When there are Good discussions to answer too, it makes it a lot easier to be able to find something to respond too.

I think I have to agree with you! There have been a lot more discussions that at least interest me. I have really enjoyed the past week! Wonderful discussions!

Yes I did notice that too... It could be attributed to several things... 1) People who have been here for a year are starting to learn what sort of question works... and which one does not. 2) Good questions attract new friends who can relate to what you say... and are also likely to ask good questions. I have been getting several friends like you in the past few months... asking good questions. 3) I think the fact that myLot has send "Crash" over to talk to us... and is starting to listen to us... does make a difference. The new innovations like the "mylot code" will also make the site more friendly and it will look more like the real forums I used to belong to. 4) Mylot digest has also helped to find good questions and new friends.

Yes, it is due to active participation from people like me It is always better to atleast read the contents, irrespective of the initiator name. That itself leads to further active participation. Better discussions are those better discussed (pat on me for this gr8 definition). Indeed, myLot is having now quite a good lot of discussions. I am comparing within last one year. Of course, I am also improving. More interaction from more minds - more opinions - V R shining

I have noticed that also. I am finding it easier to find discussions I find interesting enough to respond to. It looks like the quality of the discussions has improved and that is what I like. I like a discussion that has some meat to it. Something that gives you something to think about. I am glad to see this happening because that means I find more discussions to respond to.

I completely agree! I used to average about 10 discussions a day because I had a hard time finding stuff to respond to. Now I am answering more discussions, reading more discussions even if I have nothing to add, having more fun and even making a few more cents on the side because of it.

Yes I agree with you I open up many too but if I don't feel I can add to the discussion I don't respond.Have a great day!

I think so too as I am finding a lot more that interest me and I am responding to more also. It makes it so much more fun to hear every one else's opinions. I am taking a little more time too before starting a discussion.

Yes I agree with you.It happens here.It is a like a spawning on a particular day.We are loaded with quality discussions in a day .At times you have to rummage through to get a worthy one among a lot of crap.

I blame the full moon for the dirge of great discussions! Seriously though you are definitely right, but I have to say that my friends, although I can't respond to every single one, come up with some great discussions and interesting too! I am certainly kept busy and on my toes with floods of new and interesting discussions coming in each day.

I think i have also seen that off late. recently for few days there are so many nice discussions to answer. But toady, sad it may sound, again i am at a loss to answer more discussion. today i am finding it hard to get more interesting discussion. hope will get soon as yours i have got now as the day progress.
