A quick Mylot question

Yes, I noticed it too. I believe that the earnings we get from here has somehow affects our participation and quality of posting here, we all have to admit this! Some like you are even returning again, as I'm sure that most of them do miss this community also. Let's just hope that these changes would last longer, even without the thought of not getting paid that much!

I have noticed a jump in the payout but I don;t care at all for the way the front pages load. It takes forever for them to come up and it is hard to find exactly the topics that you are looking for. Alas, I too am coming 'back into the fold' and trying to get back up to speed.

You aren't alone in noticing this. I had been away for some time only popping in maybe once a month for a while there. The discussions I was seeing weren't that great or interesting for a long time (nothing against my friends discussions those were interesting but the rest were eh. Before that I was responding a lot but not getting much pay for it so got very tired of being here. But then I decided to recheck it out this week and noticed a lot better discussions going on (still have the waves of poor ones but most I've noticed have been decent) and the earnings have been a lot better. Back to where it was when I first joined so I'm really happy. Hopefully it continues to keep getting better and better, not only pay but discussions as well I have to admit I also like some of the new upgrades they've made.

So good to have you back Inked! I scooted out soon after you did and have only recently begun to drift in when time permits. I noticed the same thing that you mentioned when I returned a few weeks ago. The discussions seem to be better and earnings per post seem to be up a bit. I see a few old familiar faces, but there are a number of old-timers that I don't see and that I sadly miss. I look forward to your posts and discussions, they were always the highlight of my myLot experience!

I was gone for some months too, and the discussions seem pretty good now. But I do not think I am earning more now. I actually think I made much more when I first came here.

Inked, I did the same thing, left for a good long while and then came back. I haven't noticed the quality of the discussings being all that much better, it still seems to be hit or miss. Of course having friends who post good and interesting stuff helps me find some of the better discussions. I have noticed a jump in earnings though, and it's a very (natch) welcome increase. I was kind've surprised (in a good way) at how much faster the earnings seem to add up. Rock on mylot, we salute you...

I disappear from myLot from time to time too but keep coming back. I do think the earnings seem to have increased again. As for the quality of discussions I think it's generally ok at the moment. It goes through phases and this is obviously a good phase. There's a lot of really interesting people on here now though which helps.

I am here since last 1 year. i think you are right in the observation. it has changed a lot. the income boost is there for sure.The qualities are much better as in case of discussions.

I have only recently returned myself, inked. I definitely have seen improvements in earnings. I was shocked when I signed in today and saw what I had earned after yesterday touring around the site just a bit. I have been back long enough to comment on quality yet.

I haven't been here for 11 months but only active for the last couple. I have heard there has been alot of changes with Mylot. I like the idea of chatting with people and meeting people from other places. There is so much to learn and they actually pay me? Cool deal!

My mylot time is not as dedicated as most of you here. For 11 months, I have not been so active if that's the proper term for it. The quality of posts varies, of course, it all depends on our interests. I must say, 11 months before, they seem to put all their creativity and ace on writing. Now, maybe with the connection and interaction that has happened, friendship grew and everyone is seemingly comfortable tagging along with the discussions, more on growing friendship and not about being the best. I must say, it has become better. There is no more holding back, you can say whatever you have in mind and that's fun and exciting. That's how I see it. And now that you have come back, I must say, it will be more fun! What do you think?

I have joined here a few months ago and it is for sure, the site has improved a lot from those days. Maybe I (unfortunately) joined here on the wrong time and experienced some boring days. I didn't get very active, but recently I have noticed the earnings are a little better and as I try to make more quality responses, I am getting the reward. It keeps me happy with that and I hope it will never change again :)

i've jus been the member for a week! I am very glad to hear that! Though now I still have not got the payment, I think it is a good place of Mylot for us to communicate and learn the difference from our various culture around the world.

Iv only just joined today.....How much do you have to post to get a pay out? How does it all work?

Hi, I am not a myLot "oldtimer" but a pretty new member and I love it here. I spend a good amount of time reading the various discussions and try to put together a well thought out response to various topics. So far, every discussion I have participated in is filled with very interesting, thoughtful responses. I am finding this site to be very, very interesting and fun because the users are friendly and they do seem to spend time to think about what they are writing. Hopefully, I can also contribute to this environment and new users will also feel the same way. Welcome back!
