DWTS: First Impressions - The men

It is on tonight, but who are these people? I know Penn, what a bad choice that was! Pricilla Presely - again, bad choice, I sure hope she is voted off first as I can't stand the sight of her! Other than that...who are the stars? never heard of the rest! Heard of yamaguchi, but other than that... hope they aren't goig trashy with the show. It has always been so much fun to watch! They should have put Patrick Swazye or John Travolta on there!

I agree with your assessment. I did think that Penn was fun to watch, from a strictly entertainment standpoint (after all, what he does best!), but I didn't feel that his dancing was anything to write home about at all. Mario... whooey... his dancing was HOT! I think every female on the planet was fanning by the end LOL. Steve Guttenburg was just so enjoyable to watch because he was having so much fun! You can tell he is thrilled to be there and is having the time of his life. He did fine, dancing wise, as well, but the biggest draw he has, in my opinion, was his true little-boyish excitement at being there. And poor Julianne.... I don't think she'll make it past this week's vote. She's such a fun dancer, but Adam is definitely not cut out for this kind of competition lol. I almost think he's just there for the publicity, but some part of me thinks that's not fair to dump that assessment on him. He just didn't seem to be taking it seriously, from what I could tell. I still think, though, (and I said this in the women's thread) that it will be an all female final three. The men just didn't seem to have the same level of talent that the ladies showed. They're going to be hard to beat!

I have really been looking forward to this too! I agree with the person who said that Priscilla Presley should go... even though she hasn't even danced yet. She seems like she doesn't like to smile. I can't imagine that getting her very far. I think that Kristi Y. should do well. I was very pleased with Jason Taylor. He is adorable, and very smooth. Penn surprised me. I'm sure he won't last long in the competition but I found him absolutely charming. It's a shame that Adam C. was put with Juliane, because I really like watching her too, and she seems destined to leave early this time. I'm excited by Mario. I think it's time for either Edyta or Karina to win... or perhaps even one of the women this time! I'm really excited to see them dance tomorrow.

Jason was impressive, but I wasn't surprised. Many football players can dance and think its good to see one each time. Penn was terrible and this wasn't a surprise, but I really like seeing him on the show. I hope he doesn't go home first. My daughter watched the show with me when he was on. Adam Corolla could be the first one going home. He didn't seem to listen to Julianna and I felt terrible for her. She doesn't stand any chance of winning this year.
