As you know, galic has a very special taste and it's beneficial for our health can prevent diseases such as cancer.
Many people like garlic, but is annoyed by its smell that stays in your mouth for a long time after eating it,even brushing the teeth can't help.So some people are scared away by that smell.
I 'd like to share of some of my tips here.
Here it goes:
1.You drink a bottle of milk ater eating the garlic,it will ease the stinky smell.
2.You can put a some tea leaves in your mouth, chaw them for a while then spit, the garlic smell just disappear.
Would you mind share your stories?I will be very gald.

A dash of garlic in food makes it tastier and it has immense food value. However, I do not like it much.
The tips that you gave are really useful. How about chewing fresh lemon rinds?

I will never eat garlic or shallot before I go out, because the smell is so special and I can not open my mouth if I have some. But I really like them, especially eat with dumpling.
I will have some cachou chewed after eating the garlic and shallot if I should go out. I commend mint the best.

I love garlic, I think it is a really great taste and it gets added to a lot of my dishes when I cook.
It is also great for the blood and the heart, so my husband and I take garlic pills (non-smelly) every morning.
It is a shame about the after smell though, especially when other people have not eaten garlic, they smell it all the more. I tend to apologise to people at work the following day, if I have had garlic the night before. I understand that even just drinking a large glass of water after eating can help to easy smelly breath. It has to do with rinsing out the bacteria from the mouth before it has time to set up camp so to speak.
I agree with the idea of mints and gum. I think they are the best solution if you eat garlic when eating a meal out or when going out later.

I love garlic, I put it in almost all my dishes when I cook. But I don't really like the smell the garlic leaves afterwards, so I normally add other strong spices that cover the smell of the garlic.
But after i'm done eating, I always eat some sweet fruit, and then have a hot cup of tea afterwards. That takes away the smell of the garlic until I am able to go brush my teeth or use mouthwash

I don't care for the taste of garlic so I take a garlic supplement. I do realize that there are health benefits but the best I can do is take the supplement. Now my Mom on the other hand absolutely loves garlic and adds it to almost everything. She even eats the garlic straight.

If you use garlic as a main ingredient then it willsmell too much. if you add a little every now and then it will not smell. Even a little amount of raw garlic will also smell. Just avoid raw garlic and always cook it when you are out with your friends or at office. If you are not able to avoid, some mint or chewing gums should suffice.
