Do you shop the whole year for Christmas? Or just on December?

I usually shop in December for Christmas presents. I have too many things going on throughout the year and so I leave my christmas shopping till then. The only time I shopped earlier is when I ordered some things through my son's school for his grandparents or family members overseas and that was last year when I did that.

Since most of the kids in my immediate family are grown and we have put a cut off age of 18 for them, because there are so many of them, I only have three nephews and nieces left to buy for. And then I have my mom and my son and daughter and husband. So I don't worry about shopping too much. I don't buy the nephews and niece gifts, but just give them money, since I don't really know what kids like these days. They are 14, 15,and 16 so who knows what they want or what is in style, not me. My own kids, I shop for and my mom and husband. I usually wait till December to do it though.

Me and my family only shop during Christmas time. It's when items are all out for Christmas. If we buy ahead, maybe there's better than when Christmas season comes. And besides, there are so many on sale items by then.

i do. in the long run, it saves me money because right now i have a couple of things for my kids already and right now, i have them in a spot but later i will make a list of everything that i have and still need to buy for all the people on my list.

No, I seldom shop because most of the time during christmas I have no enough money. For those people who have enough or more than enough money then they could shop even everyday if they wish to be. You are lucky that you will be able to give two gifts to a friend. Me, there are times that I dont even have money to buy a single gift. I believe that its life.

I usualy strat my christmas shopping around august, so I don't have so much to do around december when it gets really busy out.

I only shope for gifts in December. I don't see the point in buying gifts early and trying to find somewhere to store them till then.

I started doing this a couple of years ago with having so many of my own children. It's easier that way but finding hiding places isn't. I picked it up from my mom. I always thought she was nuts for doing it, then I realized she was onto something. I find it's easier to buy throughout the year depending on where you go because a lot of places have clearance items that you can buy really cheap that will work as a Christmas gift. Plus having a big family enables you to buy more throughout the year than piling it all up in one month.
