What dose Easter mean to you personally?

Hey all~
well the subject line say's it all....i want to know what it means to people on a personal level. not just the Christian ease type of answers.....it means Jesus rose from the dead....we all know that...i mean to you, not to your church...
to me, Easter means that there is something better in store for me down the road. it means that i have a hope i can hold onto. it reminds me that with God, all things really ARE possible!

Umn..I'm a Christ myself but above all Eastern means to be together with your family, hv a gr8 dinner which is a superb environment to talk to each other =) My girlfriend is there, too and the family gets in touch with each other.. You know.. you don't see them for a couple of months and Eastern is a wonderful time to come together.

Easter is such a paganistic holiday, all be it one my family and I enjoy. I consider myself a Christian, but honestly easter is not a time of the year that is biblically mandated. It does however, give me a chance to have fun with my grand children and yet one more opportunity to cook a big meal for my family and it brings everyone together to remember the day Christ rose from the tomb, and celebrate the passage of winter and the awakening of spring.
