You would think large companies like this would be more aware of what goes into the makings of whatever it is their selling today wouldn't you?
The bracelets were provided as free gifts by Reebok International Ltd. with the purchase of various styles of children’s footwear. In March 2006, a 4-year-old boy from Minneapolis died after swallowing the bracelet’s heart-shaped pendant.

Where are the minds of these big conglomerates these days to let something like this happen?

Simple answer here. Theren minds ore on the money. That is what greases the wheels of these big companies. A million dollar fine is barely a drop in the bucket to a company like reebok. Such a shame. People no longer care about people in situations like these. All they see are $$$$. Poor little girl.
