Though difficult, it should be taken into considerations that giving out promises is a serious responsibility, and one giving it have to be very careful on giving them. What is your side on this?

Promises are hard to fulfill, we all know that. That's my reason why i am careful in giving my promise to someone. Promise for me should be fulfill and not be broken. I am not saying that I always fulfill my promise but I do make it a point that if i promise I'll do my best to not broke it. Also I never promise anything which I know will be hard and impossible. Its because I don't want to be tied to a promise which I can't fulfill. If that happens, and it happen once, I talk to the person whom I gave my promise and I say sorry for not fulfilling my promise. In that way I still have his respect and I can explain to him why such thing has to happen.

i am also careful in promising. When I say "I promise" I make sure that I do it. I wanna change the saying that "Promises are meant to be broken."

I like your attitude you presented in here. Yes promosises are not always made to be broken like if it is being given someone like you. Thank you for your insights.

yup. That's why we should never make promises that we can't keep ;) sure it's really tough. at that point of time we could mean what we said but things might change and we cannot fulfill our promise anymore. that really sucks and might hurt other people's feelings so yeah, we have to be very careful when promising people something.

Excellent statement you have here and I totally agree with you on it.
I myself don't promise anything, unless I know for a fact that I can carry out or delivery that promise. Nothing is worse than breaking a promise to someone that you hold dear.

it is actually an instinct to human, on giving off their promises so soon without analyzing the possible consequences of it.

i agree and i only promise what i really can do and if i'm not quite sure about it, i'm gonna tell them that i'll try my best but i'm not gonna promise them.
