It seems to me there is a right and wrong way to deal with the public interest following the legal side of a divorce case.
You could either stay pretty quiet about the whole thing and after a couple of weeks another story will grab the headlines OR you can stand in front of the press at every opportunity and dig a great hole for yourself.
The media cannot get enough this at the moment and with one side making great gaffs everytime they open their mouth it seems this person will making the headlines for months. They will also be accusing the media of not leaving her alone and complaining of the content of the stories.
Heather Mills Mccartney has done ever so well out of this whole thing financially.
Why not shut up, walk away and get on with the rest your her life.

Hi black tongue and welcome to mylot. I could'nt agree with you more. celebrities always complain about the media hounding them, but everytime you turn around there they are addressing the media. and using it to their full advantage. I can't say that i feel sorry for the ex Mrs. Mccartney though. out of the two parties i'm of the oppinion she used the media more... one can only hope they shut up so that the rest of us can move on.

Since you live in the U.K., you must be inundated with regular updates from this story. That would drive me batty, but I guess you're used to it by now.
It is true, oftentimes the media puts their nose in where it doesn't belong. Anything for a good story. I do hope that for everyone's sakes, this story don't continue. It's beyond boring as far as I'm concerned.
Thankfully I don't hear too much about it where I am. Of course, I hardly ever watch the news, and never watch the entertainment news shows, nor do I read the newspaper. lol.
