it's really a funny, funny thing.
we teenagers always like thinking that this rush of getting into relationships is much like trying shirts on: we try and try them on until we find that one perfect shirt that we actually take home.
well, if first love were really like shirts, do you think you'd get the first one and take it home in an instant?
[and yes, i DO find that metaphor corny.]

I don't see why first loves can't last. I'm marrying my first love. I never treated relationships like shirts, I chose not to waste my time on stupid games. I waited until I found someone I actually wanted to be with and it ended up working out.

Hit here chance128! Yeah, when I was a teenager, I think that way too. I think that first love, if it's really love, would last a long time even if it doesn't work out well. I think you will always remember your first love even though you might stop loving the person.
