Stimulus payment confusion?

I must be confused about the stimulus payment that's going out in May. I have to be...
Everywhere I look, I see, "$600 ($1200 if filing jointly) plus $300 per child". Well, let's see, the way I figure, being a married woman with an infant son, we should be due $1500. Well, according to the IRS site's calculator, we're only getting $1000.
How can that be? We made less than $30,000 last year. WTH???

Did you work? My husband told me that I wouldn't qualify for it because I didn't work. I'm a stay at home mom. I didn't know their was a thing for it on the irs website, I'll have to go check it out. I'm not sure how they figure how much people are getting.

Yes, I did work last year, both of us did.
I just don't understand it.
