Recommend some albums!

What albums have you bought and enjoyed recently that have been better than your expectations or you would really recommend people checking out?
I recently bought Amy Winehouse's album and it is wonderful! I do not think it is something worth leaving just because of the lifestyle she lives and is known for. People should definitely check the album out if they haven't and like her stuff.

It wasn't very recently, but the last album I bought was Hellogoodbye's first one. It had some great songs on it, and I'm beyond glad that I bought it. I'm planning on buying their newest one soon.
Okay, I'm curious. What kind of music does Amy Winehouse do? Her name sounds so familiar, so she must be pretty popular.

She is classed as a Pop singer but I suppose her music is sort of a bit jazzy. I think her album was the most bought album of 2007 in the UK so I can understand the hype lol.
I actually really liked Hellogoodbye's 2 singles they released, Here In Your Arms and Baby Its Fact.
I might check the album out :)

My favorite is "Touchdown, Turnaround (Don't Give Up On Me)." It just makes me want to jump up and dance every time I hear it. Most of the album is like that, though, but Touchdown is the best one in my opinion. Hope you like it. I lovelovelove it. ^_^

Goodbye Blues by The Hush Sound. It just came out today. If you liked their past albums you will definitely like this one too. It's a mix of piano rock with a bluesy and pop influence. It's amazing! They are so good. And I love piano, so piano rock is one of my weaknesses.
