I couldn't agree more. My husband however believes that he had love at first sight with me but I highly doubt that he would have married me the next day after meeting me (we did get engaged pretty fast though - only after 5 months of dating). I am not saying that you need to know every single reason why you love someone but you need to know more than just what they look like.

I do believe in love at first sight. I met my husband at our place of work. After we were introduced and talked for about 10 minutes, that night I told my girlfriend he was the one for me. Sure enough we dated, got engaged 2yrs after, had a baby 2 yrs after that, got married 3 yrs later, and just had another baby 17 mos ago and we're still going strong. I know, not the order I would have liked it to go. We hardly argue and we're the best of friends. We do everything together. Don't get me wrong, we have our ups and downs but for the most part, our ups outweigh the downs.

i would not call it love, call it infatuation or passion but cannot call it love. those days are pretty gone where you just look at someone and say oh he is the love of my life. you need to get to know the person well before really saying those words. though it sounds alright in movies.

I think that I can have good feeling towarding someone at the first time.But I don't think that means love.Love means understanding.First sight is also the stranger.So if you want to make some progerss that will be easy.

I guess it depends on each person, though no doubt most people think that love at first sight is actually lust at first sight. Sometimes when we see someone for the first time, we get giddy and stuff, like the way we are when we are in love. and some people automatically hit off with each other and they think that it's love. a lot of things can happen which people might regard as love at first sight, but we probably won't even know if it's true or not, until we've experienced it ourselves. I do believe in love at first sight though, nothing's impossible;)

truly i dont ...love is friendship and its a sort of understanding...love at first sight occurs due to beauty....beauty is not a ctiteria for love

Hmmmm, maybe it's true but nowadays ,as what I see, i think it's nonsense now...It only depends on the physical appearance of a person. That's not love, maybe it's just an admiration.
