breaking apartment lease?

Ok so I am at my wit's end... we moved into this really nice apartment complex mid-January. It's great.. a 2bed, 2 bath on the river... accepts large dogs and rent is $696/month which isn't bad for our area. Well, we quickly found out that the people above us are jerks. They are usually up all night stomping around and being EXTREMELY loud.They get drunk and have parties.. there's only supposed to be 1 person living there, but it's always like 4+ people there ALL THE TIME. We have talked to them twice about it and put in 2 complaints to the management. Well, now the people below us are being jerks. They bang on their ceiling (my floor). I have an 11 month old son started walking a month ago. He's not very loud, but I understand that him standing up and falling down may sound really loud, but they have not talked to us ONCE about it. All they do is bang on the ceiling and blast music. We've gone downstairs twice to talk to them and they don't answer. I hate it here now. I was thinking of trying to break my contract but I would like some advice first. Can anyone help me?
