Why are the men in the PHILIPPINES lazy, the women are the best workers in the world, the men smoke ,gamble and drink Tanduay instead of feeding their families, the women and girls wash by hand, cook, clean, babysit the men, then work for money only to support the useless partners. Why is this??????

I'm a Filipina. In fairness to Filipinos, NOT ALL men in the Philippines are lazy! There are lazy men, and they can come from different countries too! Maybe you know too many men who are lazy, and that's unfortunate for you. You must be surrounded by men who do nothing but smoke, gamble and drink Tanduay instead of feeding their families, for you to make such a statement! There are Filipinos who are achievers and not lazy bums and work hard to not only feed their families, but also to bring prestige to our country.

If the men are so good in the philippines then why do the majority of women want to marry foreigners. It cant be to marry for money that would be a sin in gods eyes.Or can it be that families trade of their daughters and sisters so they can have a life that is better, and buy more tanduay and gamble. After all women are the main agricultural profit makers for the country. Name the men who bring prestige not Marcos, Erap, Padilla, mike Arroyo, the cardinal with the correct name Sin,blood sport tax evader manny pacciau, sorry but all the good ones get assasinated. And now the next generation will leave the old traits behind and turn the country into the land of SHABU

First of all, I did not make a general statement that "men are so good in the Philippines". All I said was NOT ALL MEN in the Philippines are lazy, kindly refer to my response. Secondly, I for one, am in love with an American because WE FELL IN LOVE, and NOT because I judge the all Filipino men as you do. As far as I know, true love knows no race, color or nationality. Lastly, even if I named a thousand men who have brought prestige to our country on this little post of mine, I think it would be a waste of time trying to change the point of view of someone who has already made his final judgement on the Filipinos. As far as I'm concerned, you've made your judgement, I've stated my own point of view, it doesn't really matter if you will never agree with me. Have a nice day.

I know I generalised but that is the only way to make us men sit up and listen.I do know lots of hard working pinoy men but they are mostly heavy drinkers and smokers and gamblers. I had 40 workers whilst in Mindanao and the excuses were unbelievable as to why they had days off. But not the women they work so hard. Now isnt your quote"IM not really a fan of men" a generalisation?
