I like the Food Network channel A LOT. There are tons of cool shows on it but I definitely prefer a handful over the rest of the average recipe sharing types on during the day.
1-Diners, Dives, and Drive Ins
This guy goes around eating junk food type diner stuff. All the basic American served up fast in friendly places that everyone knows. I want this job sooooo badly. Makes me want to invent sandwhiches everytime I watch it.
2-Iron Chef America
Kitchen Stadium and cooking with exotic ingredients. Not really my style of dishes, but still entertaining.
3-Good Eats
Alton Brown the food scientist for teh everyday man.
4-No Reservations with Anthony Bourdain
Ethnic foods, crass and pretentious host, and exotic locales.
What do you like and why?

I really love Anna Olsen's shows. Sugar is one of them and she just came out with a new show called Fresh with Anna Olsen. She really seems to motivate me in wanting to cook. To me.. what desert isn't fun to make?
I will also watch Kitchen Nightmares with chef Gordon Ramsay. He's so brutally honest and when the people with the restaurants ask him for help, he ends up really helping them with the kindness of his heart but his patients sure runs thin really fast. It's got some intense moments and I enjoy having some good laughs when I watch it.
