Are you a giver or a taker?

They say that in every relationship, you must learn how to give and take.
What role do you play in yours?

In my marriage, I'd like to think that I am both.
Actually I'd like to think that my husband and I are both givers and takers in many different ways.
My husband gives by providing us with financial support, he takes the care he gets from me as a wife.
As a SAHM, I give by taking care of my kids and husband, and take by receiving some of the financial support my husband provides us.
We both give and take love, respect and trust.

"...receiving can be very difficult thing for me - I feel guilty somehow."
-Really? You feel guilt in receiving? Well, I guess it depends on what you are supposed to receive. They probably wouldn't give when they didn't know you were worth giving to. :)

My husband and I are about the same also. We both give and take. It all depends on what it is that we are trying to work out. He giuves to me when I need and I do the same for him. sometimes it feels like one is doing more than the other but it all equals out in the end.
