how do you celebrate your holy week?

I have no special Holy week coz all the days are made by God and the Bible says " this is the day that the Lord has made we will rejoice and be glad in it " I don't understand this Holy week. Every day is Holy for me.

When I was still single, we used to head to the province to spend the Holy Week there. Since being in the province where religious practices are more observed, it made the time spent there more "Holy" so to speak. My mom used to be so strict in observing the Holy Week wherein we were not allowed to turn on the TV or switch the radio on. Times have changed though. Our family got bigger and bigger and my parents started to have grandkids whom they couldn't restrict them from watching cable TV or playstation. Several years back, when I became active in mountaineering, I would offer my climbs as a sacrifice. Now that I am married and have two young kids, we will probably just stay at home and try to keep the week as holy as possible as it's supposed to be.

this is a unique holy week for me and my family. this year my brother and his family migrated to canada so this year they have to watch all the activities via webcam. so this year we spend half of the holy day facing the pc.
