I think I am a wise person. The word wizard comes from wise. A lot of people tell me that I am wise for my age. I consider myself to be a sage.
I wasn't born with wisdom. I had to gain it through the years. The reason many people think I am wise for my age. Is because I read and learn from others. And then I take what I learn and teach it to others and they spread the knowledge.
I think this is what being wise is all about. So if you have knowledge you should spread. Because knowledge is power.

I am most certainly a very wise woman...for various reasons..mainly though its the combination of being a Virgo (we are the seekers of knowledge) and I've been through so much in my life...add to that the fact that I'm a compassionate person and a teacher/helper type and yep I'm wise....
I have to say though that as familiar as I am with the expression "Knowledge is power" I have to say I dont necessarily agree with that...Knowledge CAN BE power BUT its what one does with that knowledge that is truly powerful (if handled properly)

I like to think that I am a very wise person. I have been through alot of things in my life and I learned real quick what was good or bad and what is right or wrong. I have also learned what works best for me and what does not. I think knowledge is power also but it does take its toll on us sometimes with the things we have to go through to learn alot of them things that makes us wiser.

I'm told that I'm wise. Part of it is that I spent some of my childhood sitting at the feet of some very wise elders, and learning from them. Also I've been reading and studying some very deep topics since I was a very small child, so I've had plenty of time to learn from books and other sources.
Add to that both my own life experiences, which haven't exactly been mundane or normal, and my involvement with all things spiritual, and I think I have an excuse to agree with those who say I am wise.
On the other hand, one of the main parts of being wise is both being able to recognize and use what you know, plus being able to admit what you don't know. So I might be wise, but I have a lot yet to learn!

I do not know if I am wise or not. If I am it is a gift and not of my own doing. I do not think learned knowledge is a necessity to being wise, nor do I think a lack of book smarts negates wisdom.
I guess it is for others to determine if I am a wise person.
