Who would you choose as the greatest club in football?

If you were to vote for a football club as the greatest club in football which would it be? One of the spanish giants, Barcelona or Real Madrid? Or would you chose an English team, Manchester United or Liverpool? Maybe an Italian team, AC Milan, Inter Milan or Juventus? Or would you go for the Germans, Bayern Munich? How about the South Americans, Boca Juniors, Riverplate or maybe even Santos? Which one would it be?

Present day i would go for Liverpool but then I am a Liverpool fan
Best team I have ever seen play was the AC Milan team of the 1980s and 1990s - Baresi, maldini, Van Basten Reijkaard, Guillet and Costacurta what a team

They were a good team to watch. Another good team during those days was Inter Milan with the German combo Mattheus, Klinsman and i can't remember the other one.

think it was andreas brehme - can't say i was his biggest fan but he did win the scudetto with Inter

Manchester United is my choice. It is one of the richest club in the world with the most number of fan all around the world and having the best team and the best skillful player, Christino Ronaldo. With all the combination, Man United is always the greatest and the best.

Sorry I can't agree with you. They may be a great team now, but greatest always? I don't think so. They may have been the dominant team in english football for th last 15 years or so, but for all their dominance in the EPL, they've only won the Champions league once. Not a good track record.

It is a sad thing to give up my favoutite team--Manchester UNITED.But to tell the truth,even though it is more and more attractive, after all it have not got as mang glories as AC Milan,they also created mang legends,botn in players and team history.So,i vote AC MILAN

I like your choice. They've always been a good team and have always been a major force in the Serie A and europe. Among all the italians, I enjoy watching them the most.

weel, in my opinion, EPL is the greatest football league. in my country, people are more enjoying EPL and the other league. Since then, i think that Enlish's club is the greatest football club. personally, I think that MU is the mightiest club. Financially, MU is very rich and if i am not mistaken, is the rich football club among the EPL football team. another things is the position MU is at now, which is leading the league. MU had also won alot of comtetitions and one of the very few who get treble. MU also has very expensive and talented players. a players like Christiano Ronaldo is a huge asset for MU. judging from all of that, I think MU is the greatest football club.

I have to agre that MU is a vey rich club and brimming with talent. But then to me, that's the MU of today. 25 years ago, MU wasn't doing too many great things. In the 70s and 80s, they hardly won the leagu, they didn't win anything in europe either. They've only won the Champions League once, and the old European Cup once. Hardly the makings of a great football club.

I would say barcelona as of now.
Come on, Lionel messi ( fav ) , Ronaldinho, eto'o, puyol, xavi.
Who can beat them, sadly messi is out for 6 weeks, uhh that celtic player put him out

i would choose manchester united...the red devils have the best chance to win the european champions league this year..they have the greatest coach sir alex ferguson
they have the best young players ronaldo,rooney,anderson,nani
they have experienced senior players like giggs,scholes,ferdinand and van der sar
and together they are the best team
