Are we split personalities at one point of time ?.As we live in a world of never ending contradictions ,is it possible that we have our split personalities which we are oblivious off . May be our survival instincts takes over us as the tussle between our convictions and pragmatism gets uglier . Please give your opinon . with regards http://www.chocolatesavy.com

Dear Satkumar, I do many do have various types of personalities according to situations we face and people we deal with. A advocate would possess as different to different clients, a doctor, those who have to deal with service side may go better if they possess different personalities as those people they deal are also different. This might be easy going for both. But those with negative personality may in subconscious mind may be observed or rectified with proper care. It might be a physiological problem. May be that survival instinct might be the back of all these.

We tend to be show sides of our identities to different people, depending on the situation. We often get encouraged to do our best when it comes to some people and then, be dependent on others on some occasions. Different degrees that varies for every person or group of individuals that we deal with at a daily basis. Same goes when we ask different people regarding a similar person that they know of. Even though that they could give something in common, they could still state a distinct characteristic that seems they alone could distinguish compared to others. We can't always be the same person to everyone.

I think we all have various aspects to our personalities for any given situation without a doubt...A very basic example would be how a person behaves at work compared to how they would behave at home or when out with friends... I have multiple personalities (NOT in the clinical sense) that I've developed since a very young age for survival purposes....there are 5 very distinct "personalities" actually
