what would you like to do on Internet?

When i was in high school, my engligh teacher told me that westerner spend their most online time to learn or search info,while many Chinese just use the internet for entertainment.I don't know wheather it's ture.what would you like to do on the Internet?

That's a good question buddy!!!
Actually i would like to send and receive mails,chat with my friends,search whatever information i need in websites like wikipedia.com and some forums.....
And the most important thing i like to do is working out with MYLOT!!! as it increases my knowledge in by reading different topics..

there are many things that i like to do on the internet. emailing, chat with friends via IM, blog, do research, download music or series/movies, visit forums of my favourite stars...and sometimes do some online shopping, online banking and also play games online.

I do not think it is completely true! It sounds like your teacher was trying to get you to think Americans study more and only learn online, when in fact we do a lot more than just learn and look up information! We buy clothes and other household items online, we do games and puzzles, and we watch television shows ans movies online! We also love to chat with other people online, and that is socializing! So I think your teacher was trying to influence you by stretching the truth, one inch at a time!
